Holiday Cottages – other features and benefits

• Easy to cook - Hob, oven, fridge, pots and pans and ample utensils and cutlery
• Superb views - Adjacent to each cottage is the original era [threshing floor]. This looks onto the orchard, with apple, pear, peach, nectarine, cherry, walnut, and grapes in abundance. A bench is provided to sit and contemplate the vista.
• Delight to swim in - Large fresh water pool fed from the main over ground acequias, which is a delight to swim in during warm weather. Sun loungers are provided.
• Help the environment - Electricity is provided by photovoltaic panels and stored in batteries providing lighting only in Águila and Halcón. Note if you wish to recharge a mobile phone or other rechargeable equipment, we are happy to do this for you in our main house where the solar energy is into 230 volts. Guests staying in Nogales have the benefit of mains power on a limited basis as it is still drawn from the sun via panels and batteries. They thus have the use of a DVD player to watch a selection of DVD's provided.
• Healthy living – no chemicals - Our water is snow melt from the mountaintop filtered underground to our own spring. Bottled water is available for purchase if people prefer.
• Solar energy - Hot water is supplied mainly via solar energy backed by butane gas
• No need to shop on arrival - The self-catering price (if appropriate) includes a generous starter pack of groceries. Please inform us on your booking form if any of the party are vegetarians or vegans
• No need to go shopping at all - An additional service available is the purchase of further groceries to order - ask for information on arrival. In season you can purchase our fresh fruit and vegetables and home produced eggs and many staples such as milk, bread and rice, on site in our small shop. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements, which we will do our best to meet.
• Save space in your luggage - Always available and included in the price are basic condiments, washing up liquid, tea towels, towels* and soap

*Bedding and towels are provided but please bring beach towels for all outdoor use.
